Unable to configure ActiveShield in McAfee VirusScan 9.0.

The best soultion of the day.

Unable to configure ActiveShield in McAfee VirusScan 9.0.
Cause: You do not have administrative privileges.

Symptoms: Unable to configure ActiveShield in McAfee VirusScan 9.0.

Solution: Log off as an 'User', and then log on as a 'System Administrator'.

Details: When ActiveShield is started (loaded into computer memory) and enabled, it is constantly protecting the computer. ActiveShield scans files when they are accessed by either user or the computer. When ActiveShield detects an infected file, it automatically tries to clean the virus, or to delete the entire infected file. So, ActiveShield needs to be configured properly.
1) Log off as an 'User'.
2) Log in as ' System Administrator'.
NOTE: If you do not have administrative privileges, request the system administrator to help you.
3) Right-click the McAfee VirusScan icon in the system tray.
4) Select 'VirusScan'.
5) Select 'Options'.
6) Click the 'ActiveShield' tab to configure options.
ActiveShield Options
7) Click 'Advanced' to configure 'ActiveShield Advanced Options'.
ActiveShield Advanced Options
8) Click 'OK'.
Applies To: McAfee VirusScan 9.0
