How to: Send an Attachment in Microsoft Outlook 2003.

The best soultion of the day.

Solution: In Outlook 2003, open an e-mail message to be sent. On the 'Insert' menu, click 'File' and then locate the file and click 'Insert'.


Details: You can send Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other electronic files as an attachment for sharing information, reviewing, and editing of content. If you have the information as a file, you can send it as an attachment.
NOTE: You cannot add an attachment to a received e-mail message; you can only add an attachment to new e-mails or to open e-mails that are being replied to or forwarded.
1) In Outlook 2003, open an e-mail message to be sent.
2) On the 'Insert' menu, click 'File'.
NOTE: If 'File' is not visible on the 'Insert' menu, click the arrow at the bottom of the menu to expand the menu.
TIP: Alternately, click the paper clip button on the tool bar.

3) Browse to select the file you want to attach to the e-mail.
4) Click 'Insert'.
5) Finish the e-mail and click 'Send'.
