This error occurs when one of the following printer drivers makes a call comprising invalid parameters to the Win32K.sys component:

Gestetner P7026n PCL
HP 4050 PCL6
HP LaserJet 4200
HP LaserJet 4345 PCL 6
HP LaserJet 9050
Ricoh LAN Fax Driver
Ricoh Laser AP2600N PCL
Additionally, the problem may occur if you are printing to a Printer Command Language (PCL) printer from SQL Reporting Services.
You may use the resolution methods defined here for other printer drivers also that display these symptoms. You may also check the printer manufacturer’s web site to see if any updated drivers that resolve this error are available. If yes, you must try to update your printer driver to resolve the error.

To resolve this error on a Windows 2000 Service Pack (SP) 4 computer, download and install Windows2000-KB935843-x86-ENU.EXE from Microsoft download center on your computer.
To install this update without required user invention and computer restart, log on to your Windows 2000 SP4 computer as an administrator and run the following command:
