Fix of problems due to mcafee

The best soultion of the day.

Change Access for Internet Programs
To change the access for Internet Programs, perform these steps:
1 Right-click the red, square McAfee icon by the system clock
2 Point to Personal Firewall Plus.
3 Select Internet Applications.
4 Scroll through the Internet Applications page to find the application you want to change.
5 Highlight the application you want to change.
6 Select the appropriate option:
* Allow Full Access-- Allow the application full Internet access.
* Outbound Access Only-- Allow the application to send information, but do not allow it to receive information.
* Block This Application -- Do not allow the application to send or receive information.
Fixing "Page cannot be displayed" Errors
To troubleshoot Internet connectivity issues with McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, you must determine your Internet application browser or e-mail client's application access:
1 Right-click the icon by the system clock.
2 Click Personal Firewall Plus.
3 Click Internet Applications.
Note: This list shows the applications that have attempted to access the Internet while the Personal Firewall has been installed.
4 Scroll through the list and make note of applications that have been blocked. Consider granting outbound access to any application that is blocked. At a minimum, the following system services and software should be allowed full access:
* svchost.exe - Generic Host Process for Windows Services (These are system services required by Windows.)
* lsass.exe - Local Security Authentication Server (This is how you connect to your network.)
* waol.exe - America Online (This allows you to communicate on the AOL network.)
* spoolsv.exe - Printer Spooler Subsystem (This allows you to print to a network printer.)
* iexplore.exe - Internet Explorer (This is a Microsoft browser.)
* outlook.exe - Microsoft Outlook (This is an email client.)
* msimn.exe - Microsoft Outlook Express (This is an e-mail client.)
Change the List of IP Addresses my Mcafee Firewall is Blocking
To audit the list of banned IP addresses with McAfee Personal Firewall Plus, perform these steps:
1 Right-click the icon by the system clock.
2 Left-click Personal Firewall Plus.
3 Click Utilities.
4 Click Trusted & Banned IPs.
5 Click the Banned IP Addresses tab.
6 Confirm with your ISP that none of the IP addresses listed should be trusted.
7 Remove any banned IP addresses that should be trusted so you can access the Internet.

Errors Sending/Receiving E-mail Due to Mcafee
To troubleshoot issues sending or receiving e-mail on systems with McAfee Personal Firewall Plus installed, perform these steps:
1 Right-click the icon by the system clock.
2 Click Personal Firewall.
3 Click Internet Applications.
4 Scroll through the list of applications. Verify that your e-mail program (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora) has full access to the Internet.
Note: Applications that do not have full access will be listed in red.
5 If a desired program does not have full access, right-click on the program name and click Allow Full Access.
